Not Our Day
The winning team is always the one that takes their chances and that was the case away to Blyth in our FA Cup match on Sunday. We had a lot of possession and controlled the midfield but just didnt take the chances we created . Blyth started the game the faster and were rewarded by getting themselves into a two goal lead . We started the second half much better and got back into the game when Elise Bell scored her third FA Cup goal from a corner . We had clear chances to level but couldn't take them . Pushing for the equaliser always left us open to the counter and with the clock running out Blyth grabbed their third and put themselves into the next round. Overall a good performance from Allotment just need to add the finish .
